Hi all

Hoping for a little input. I have just had a wheel alignment carried out, and sadly for me, everything but the front camber is out. Not by huge margins, but out nevertheless.

Apparently though, the only adjustment able to be carried out is for the front toe. Is this right (my car is standard Peugeot I should add)?

I remember when changing the front sprigs that there was no adjusters I had to mark up etc, but thought nothing of it at the time.

What are my options here can anyone tell me?

Thanks

Could be, though having looked round it I don't think so. It has done 125000 though...

As I say, nothing is far out. Just a bit out!

Also, everything that is out, is out by the same value as the opposite side apart from the rear camber.

Given that it doesn't seem there's much to be done and its not too terrible I may just try to forget it. At least they didn't charge me for it!

It'd help if you let us know the values?

Front camber should be around -.3 on a standard ride height car

    Good point... The values were:

    Front:

    Castor L: 2.37 Castor R: 2.27
    Camber L: -0.32 Camber R: -0.02
    Toe L: 0.22 Toe R: 0.18

    Rear:

    Camber L: -1.43 Castor R: -0.54
    Toe L: -0.02 Toe R: 0.01

Is there any adjustment I have missed, or is toe the only one available as standard?

    Cheers

I don't think so. The rear camber was the one slightly disturbing result that I thought looked pretty bad...

I will double check when I get home this evening, but I think I copied it down right?

What values would you expect for this?

Are the front values ones of any great concern do people think? I don't think I'll be replacing the whole suspension setup on what was a £500 car!

All the values were copied right, I've just double checked.

So, it seems the beam is less than straight. Assuming I can get hold of a decent one that brings the camber in (and maybe the toe if I'm lucky), would there be any problem running this car?

The front toe can be adjusted so hopefully I would only be left with the front castor being a little out. Would this be a big problem? I'm hoping to use this as my daily in the near future.

    Thanks
