Does anyone know if anywhere other than Peugeot sell the the threaded part that pushes over the positive battery terminal? Or what they're called? Have tried searching with a few different terms but no luck! Mine has only got a few teeth left and would like to replace it!

Cheers

Later design is a clamp. Personally I prefer the screw on ones.

hm..... im afraid i agree with rikky.

half of the peugeot specific things make life awkward and stressfull.

id also mention i managed to remove about a foot of wire from the original battery loom. on a stanny car it doesnt help but if youve relocated your battery every cm of wire counts.

The threaded castle battery connectors always corrode and break up. I ditched mine on my old ph2.

The clamp on the later cars is also very s**t. Again i cut them off and replaced them with some from my local motor factors for less than a tenner. Job jobbed Thumbs up

The threaded castle connector doesn't corrode if you look after it and not drive the car in salty weather.

However, if it's an all year round vehicle then I can see why that might happen, try some anti corrosion grease on it for those which still have the connector fitted. Smile

So following on from this i have recently discovered my neutral cable has seen better days (the end connecting on to the gear box) i will replace the cable that also connects from the gear box (smaller cable) to the chassis leg.

Does anyone know the thicknesses of these 2 cables and where i can get a connector (terminal end) and connectors for the gear box and chassis leg also?

    Many thanks Matt.
