Thats the Ph1 Xsi/S16 aux, Ph2 405 Mi16 Aux setup that's standard fit. Iirc you'll need to change your crank pulley as it has different offset to Gti. |

Thanks to seb for supplying a new interior so I could get rid of them damn aweful seats that were in there. Then managed to swap my axles over and fitted my solid axle mounts. The car feels 100x better to drive and handling in a big improvement. 1 problem I had only put 1 of the rear callipers back on hand tight so it fell off a few 100 meters up the road... oups! Not many pics of work but got a couple with sebs 6 before heading home. Then had a little fun with this on my way home Looking at the cafe photo I see you took the best road up there, I used to go that way in an arctic with no trailer on, the part where you go up and down the big humps/hills was awesome in neutral. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Yeah I used to take the road just off the a66 at Barnard castle to get the the a68, went over some awesome roads before dropping down to a small village with a ford/river crossing which was unfortunately never open, good job really as I doubt it would do the hot brake discs any good after dropping down that big mountain/large hill just before.________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

A68 is the way to go without a doubt, if the road is quiet you really can have some serious fun spanking up or down it, couple of bits to catch you out though, i'll never go the A1 again.Nice new addition to the collection, whos going to mapping it, still Wayne Schofield? |

Dont know of many people who could map in Newcastle or Durham. You could always use SOS or Sitech, thats who will be mapping my DTA. Not sure who's furthest away from you but imo seeing as your now going omex then i would look for someone closer to home. |

Wayne has a lot of rolling roads he uses up and down the country, speak to him and he may come to you and map it locally on someone elses rolling road. Theres also a guy in Harrogate who used to work with Wayne, might be worth speaking to him, have a search for TMSport, they have there own rolling road, and I know Wayne uses that occasionally. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Yeah I have heard of TMS before. Seen them on facebook a few times. Will sort mapping out closer to the time but still other bits and bobs to get before then.________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

Why not use the standard fuel rail, all the injectors line up, you just need to make couple brackets to secure it. Unless your a tart and want a shiny custom one then i would use that to get it all up and running, can always upgrade things as you go. Not much point spunking loads of money into that inlet incase it turns out to be a disappointment although it could be pretty good |

Would rather just buy everything before fitting then saves messing on later.________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

Fair enough. Have a look on triggerwheels.com website, they do 'universal' lengths of fuel rail with fittings, might save you a few quid |

By flat shift do you mean you keep your foot planted but still use the clutch? It'll be fine on an NA motor, and will work well too! Just hope the syncros can keep up!________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Yeah thats what I take it to be. He just mentioned it while on the phone so I have had a little look to see what it is ect... I will see how it goes. Cant see me using it much to be honest as only really drive to work and back at the minute but should be interesting to see what its like. Any more recomendations pete since you know your stuff or would you say am pretty much sorted? ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

I'd just get it up and running and driving nicely first, flat shift and stuff is easy to add on at a later date! ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |
