Had a full day on the car today just about. Drove up to scotland 6am this morning after having no sleep! Plenty of redbull and coffee has kept me going! Thanks to seb for supplying a new interior so I could get rid of them damn aweful seats that were in there. Then managed to swap my axles over and fitted my solid axle mounts. The car feels 100x better to drive and handling in a big improvement. 1 problem I had only put 1 of the rear callipers back on hand tight so it fell off a few 100 meters up the road... oups! Not many pics of work but got a couple with sebs 6 before heading home.

Then had a little fun with this on my way home Cool

For storage reasons Whistle need to get on the rollers to see what this is making and how its running as im more than certain it not running too well as I have been telling you for the past week seb. Poor map and running too rich.
Need to get hold of a PAS relocation kit and have a fuel rail made up on pay day so I can get ready to fit inlet hopefully in march

Depending on whats happens with my health/work this week i should be able to come down on sunday, i'll bring DTI gauges to see if your cams are timed up to spec, may as well check the basics before you dyno it.

Thumbs up look nice in the car, lowere the better as standard 306 seats sit quite high I think. May look into then or some integra Recaros Cool will have to see what cash I have spare this month as I need PAS relocation kit and a fuel rail made up for my new inlet before I get anything else

I know, its like sitting on a stool! Different seats should be easy enough to set lower down

Time for another update!
Fitted my inlet on my old engine to see how it would fit and see what clearance would be like. PAS relocation kit is needed what I already knew about and dont think its going to fit with the standard rad. Good job I have a 60mm r5 turbo alloy rad. Didnt realise how big it actually is before I fitted it onto the engine.

Well got my martix done today. Wasnt as bad as I was expecting to be honest. Took around 2 and a half hours start to finish then an extra hour on top of that to get that stupid break light switch back in what had fell out when we pulled the dash out!!! Also removed the heavy sound proofing from behind the dash as well while the dash was out.
By the look of it the O rings failed on the old matrix

Well all that chopping was a total wast of time Laugh my ass off PAS relocation kit arrived today. Totally different setup to what i was expecting. Looks like I could have 2 options on what pump to run? Standard gti6 pump with smaller pulley and auto tensioner or the bigger MI16 (I think) Pulley with manual tensioner.

Also popped down to have jim remove the cat from my manifold. Feels to run a lot better now.
