So got in from work around 12.15 thismorning to see a parcel, only thing it could be was the plenum for my inlet... turns out its the complete BTCC inlet with plenum Big grin score! Thats 2 inlets I have not LOL 1 with long trumpets a 1 whit short trumpets. So anyway after being over the moon about that I decided to clean my engine up abit more. Now its time for bed.

The original one needs some work to make it work as the two end cylinders don't cover the injecter ports due to some numpty cutting the lugs off........

Laugh my ass off I thought I had only bought the plenum for my manifold but turns out I have bought the full thing Big grin this one comes ready with fittings to run all 8 injectors and other bits and bobs. Also this one will fit straight on without any work.

Sorry sam but none of them are for sale Flip

Had a few hours here and there to get things done. Mainly just tidying and painting the new engine at the minute and getting it all put back together ready to fit over the weekend hopefully. Oh and I received a carbon coilpack cover through the post while I was at work too Cool
I will let the pics do the rest of the talking.

Cat s**t Laugh my ass off straight on the neighbours conservatory roof ;-)
As for time and motivation this week my time has been 12 midnight till when ever I get bored and tired, neighbours would have been over the moon Tuesday when I cracked the grinder out with the wire brush on to clean the block down Whistle
Standard manifold is going on for the time being.

1.2 and 0.95 is pretty minimal lift @ tdc so don't expect massive gains from the cams. To give you a reference my btcc cams(which were fairly mild really) are 3.2/3.0mm lift and my current cams are 3.55/3.1mm....

Your cams are probably as big as you can go one standard springs and lifters etc though.

I have a print out there what I got with the engine and ecu of 194bhp so hoping for a little more than that with the maniflow on and hopefully even more with the inlet on and new map or different ecu.

Was up early this morning to make a start but after an hour of getting p**s wet the engine was in and wiring all done. Decided we needed to make a shelter LOL

Anyway that's it all in and running Cool not a lot more to do, brake lines to finish fitting and bleeding, front end to go on, wheels to go on. Think that's about it. Some front seats to put in and its ready for a road test.
