Started stripping down my rear torsion bar today. With the two 13mm bolts removed from the end caps on the ARB so it is free from the beam itself, should I be able to turn it freely??? may not be massively important but would be good to no.

Thought so, am I right in thinking if this was seized solid, it would stiffen up the rest of the rear suspension? I use the car for rallycross and last few meeting I haven't been able to stop the ass end bouncing I wonder if this could have been causing it

When you removed the m8 bolts, did they come out with ease, or under pressure.

As it could be a sign your trailing arm is seized in position compared to other side

Continue the strip down by popping the caps off with a ford wheel bolt/head bolt or whatever you have with the correct thread and see what the inside of the shafts are like.
