It does roll a bit I guess. On 888s using 285 front and 21mm bars + hybrid rear, but its mostly a B road car and it is very quick indeed on those. Not slow on the bumpy Eastern Circuit here either. Might go a bit lower on the front, but it seems to work fairly well. Combe on Friday for a couple of hours with a bit of luck! ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I'm hoping to buy an impreza roof flap from work. Just bodged on a cold air intake for the interior fan. Was drawing in air from the engine bay...________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Awesome at Combe last Friday. Only managed the afternoon and 35 laps on the PE2s. Still went past most cars there including a chimera and a 400bhp s60r Too bloody hot still ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I hadn't realised it had been a year since updating this thread. Wow.So many, many things have happened. Over the winter the interior was further worked on with plumbed and hand-held extinguishers installed, ally nav foot rest, re-painting, removed another load of wiring loom, new dash board with better (still a bit dodgy) flocking etc. Also WP built a 4.4 5 speed hybrid box and it had a quaife chucked in for good measure. Since then its gone back to a 6 speed whilst an even shorter box is being sourced. I changed wheels to direct fit MO5s (still 15" as they are bombproof and then managed to squeeze these over my old set of Pendulum MS 310mm RS Brembos that I bought back from Brendan (with a 10mm spacer). These run DS2500 pads and have been awesome. Its also had a set of piper 270 cams and we replaced 3x stuck lifters (it needs another doing). And its had an oil cooler. I have also wrapped it white using avery vinyl and installed a TRS carbon roof scoop. Its done 3x sprints (Pembray, Combe and Blyton), spring action day and a Combe track day. I came third at Blyton (on Motors TV!!) but was beaten by considerably faster stuff, Atoms etc, at the other tracks. I'm still massively impressed by what I can beat though - evos, imprezas, clios, various bmw track cars. I'm trying to get another track day in before winter (last two rounds of sprinting were out due to family stuff). ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

From the combe sprint:"So a decent showing at combe yesterday. 48th overall but 4th in class beating some serious kit (and everyone from work lol). Best lap into the 1:19s, just 1.3s off a R35 GTR and about the same to 3rd in class an e46 m3 track car. Pretty committed on that lap it has to be said (5th flat over Avon rise after flat through the bus stop chicane was hairy)." ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I've recently gone for another pair of AD08R for the front. I cannot say enough good things about them, especially as they are so blinking cheap and do 5k miles (with 300+ miles of track).Otherwise over the winter i'm going to finally finish and fit the FG tailgate I bought from Twangy and possibly fit the good beam I have sat in my £78 Meridian spare parts car. I also need to sort a few water leaks and in an ideal world I'd get a non-sunroof roof skin into it. At the moment it is my daily driver so I can't do a great deal. I'm also on the lookout for a 3rd/4th cluster for a BE4 from say a 206 petrol to build up the partner 4.53 FD i've got for next year. I think I need to find a better series to sprint in as there is little point trying to beat s/c atoms and turbo dax rushes... ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

3mm flat sheet I'll cut to shape. 4mm would bend the boot - had to cut the ACW one to fit anyway... ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Thanks - hope things are working out for you better? Looking for some other cheap competitive sprints or hill climbs next year. So much better than track. Shame stages are so much money ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Well after meeting Yippee, Welshpug,Adam and Anton (non member) for a curry and exchange of cash/parts Adam kindly took me out for a spin in this machine. All I can say is i've never been in a car that's set up so well for b roads/playfulness as this one! It handles superb and when it does break traction it's fun! Shame the handbrake is so s**t in it |
