Still no pics of what the rest of the car looks like yet. Got a couple now, space is tight and not much room to get any decent ones just yet but here it is. Car is not lop sided its just the angle of the camera.

May have done but all the chassis leg is straight and could also be the reason for my crappy bonded on N/S wing being bonded and bolted on! Seems fine just a bit rough looking or could have just been where it started to rust under the paint off you see the pics on page 1 you will see what I mean LOL

Spent a little time on the car Saturday stripping most of the interior out and cleaning my utility room so i had a bit more space to work in. Got the servo and master cylinder cleaned and painted then both fitted, finally things area going back together Big grin Also my clutch turned up yesterday.
Today i picked up a saxo dash what will be getting fitted as the fascia on the 205 dash is all cracked and i refuse to pay £40 for a 2nd hand one! Stripped the glove box, vents and fascia off the dash and made a couple of blanks out of 4mm poly carb i had lying around. Boost gauge will be fitted in the driver vent. fascia is going to be a bit harder to make tho so going to have to get something a bit more flexible.

Thanks mate. Got a few more bits and bobs sorted yesterday after work. Missed a parcel too so will have to wait till Wednesday to collect it. Can only be my 440cc injectors or my U/J for the rack, if its that then means i can crack on and get the subframe back on one night. Going to try get the wishbone bushes out tonight and ball joints Laugh my ass off thats going to be a ball ache!

Yesterday i started modifying the 205 gti inlet to suit the head, little more work needs to be done its getting there. Clutch fitted, oil filter on. getting there slowly.

Thanks mate Thumbs up I just try crack on any minute i get. handy finishing work at 3pm on day shift so i get a little time after work. Next week i start at 3pm so depending on when i get up i could squeeze a little time a few days then. I wish i never got rid of my garage now, so handy this time of the year.
Putting quite abit work and money into this but to be honest i haven't even drove this yet and its just sitting in the back yard so if i get bored i can just leave it and come back to it unlike my other cars where i have been driving them day to day while messing on with them!
I was getting fed up at one point, felt like i was just pulling it to bits and spending fortunes and getting no where but now things are going back together i am starting to feel excited again to get it finished and just have a drive of it Big grin

Dropped my wishbones off tonight to have the ball joints replaced by rose joints, also while i was down at jims i had him steam clean my gearbox while i rounded off the ports on my inlet. Got the box home and give it a lick of paint so its now nice and clean to match my engine Cool Also picked up a 205 GTi fuel rail, painted that and got it fitted with my Bosch 440cc injectors.
Picking up a new thrust bearing in the morning, fitting the box to the engine and then thats the engine ready to go back in Big grin Things are moving quite well at the minute.

Cleared out all the crap inside the car and pulled the rest of the trim out so i could trail fit the saxo dash today. Its not too far out, a little trimming in the corners by the windscreen and it should go in nicely, Bulkhead mounting points are about 10mm too wide what shoudnt take much to modify them to fit through the holes. Once i get the engine back in on its mounts i will pull the windscreen out to allow my to access the dash from the outside so i know what needs cutting ect...

Bored tonight after work so decided to do something different what i haven't seen on any 205s before and make myself some black masked headlights Cool only got one done at the minute as its quite fiddly buy quite pleased with the out come. Dont think they will be too good at night but dont really plan to use the car in the dark anyway.

Yesterday i received my S16 throttle body from miles. Not a lot bigger than the standard one but every little helps and its a lot easier to fit to the GTi inlet as well.
Also finished my headlights off and rested my intercooler on the front of the car. Think i may have to get rid of this one and maybe buy a low boost cooler. Unless there is someone wanting to swap Wink
