Anyone got a cylinder head preferably complete and not a tapper? Must be in good condition.

Got a feeling mine has been over skimmed !!!! ( Im aware of the step that shows its been over skimmed but it was already back on before i knew that :-/. )Gonna take it back off as have checked and double checked the timing after gasket change and it still locks up when trying to turn it by hand

What kind of price would i be looking at??

Thanks in advance

Your bottom pully is probably f**ked so your not timing it up correctly! Lock the flywheel with an 8mm drill bit or bolt then pin the cams up you'll find its probably out.

there is no 8mm hole in an XU10 flywheel for locking purposes.

on the left, XU10, on the right, XUD.

So I must have imagined using it yesterday to time up a 6 engine I just put a head on and imagined doing it many other times lmao

Edit: Also used it on the phase 2 Diablo 6 I used to own when I was doing the cambelt at home without any air tools and the crank pully bolt was sized solid. Pulled the starter off and locked it with an 8mm drill bit that ended up very bent as the puly bolt was so solid.

I only regret not taking a picture of the one I did last week with the timing tool on the flywheel to show all the people that say there isn't a flywheel lock that there is.....

quite right, you should not use any of the timing pins to lock the engine for the purpose of loosening any bolts.
