Mei you big kidder I know some small bits still need tidying and I'd like to rustproof and treat the boot floor in the end but got fed up spending money on a rolling shell.I still want some remote reservoir front shocks to match the rears but they'll have to wait a while at 2.5k

Old rad cap not one of mine mate lol cheers feels good to have finally got an engine and charger in this shell Smile

Parts wise engine is fully rebuilt throughout including new valves Rotrex c38-91 going to see what this puppy can run bhp wise. Not going to go silly a safe map I'll be happy with.
Parts still to add are front Bad coilovers, and I'd like to get a dry sump at some point.
Paint the doors and hatch possibly have the whole car blown over and fit some new Rallye graphics.
Cheers Jimmy

We'll have now done 200 miles and can only say what a machine Smile I've only got 5k Rev limit at the moment but it feels awesome can't wait to get a bigger bore exhaust on it and thrash the fck out of it. Satchshift is an awesome mod can't recommend it enough I've tried many other short shifts and linkages but it feels absolutely spot on. Engine pulls so well car flies and the new Bad rear dampers suck up bumps and I can go round roundabouts like I'm on Rails. Projects are never finished I'll put some more photos up tommorrow. Hoping to do another 150 miles tommorrow. Many thanks to a Rich W and Nick also to Ollie for his input into the Satchshift Smile cheers guys

Looks good quality though the quote I've had is for a three box system Sad trying to keep it under 92db for track use just want a 2.75 from manifold back. Then up to Wayne for some dyno time. Hoping to make 500bhp should see me at 545bhp per ton. Then fit wide track and Nur carbon wide arch kit. Feels so good to be out driving boosted again Smile

Yeh its a work of art mate. Have a removable 200cell cat to for mot time.
Mine was made to be under 98db and is quiet compared to some, just raspy. Well you've seen my car if you can remember that far back.

Bit of a step up from your golf LOL

Hated that thing Sad loved the engine note v5 sounded good but it had traction control which meant you'd go round a corner it would feel the front slide so cut power meaning lift of oversteer. This is a machine Smile though even at 5k you need to be concentrating hard can't wait to change the front dampers Smile. How far have you got with youres now?
