Because they are thieving cheating gits who are taking the p!$$. Seriously, adding VAT at the end? jamiek_uk2000 wrote: Front page....... * * ALL ONLINE PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO 20% VAT FOR UK & EU ORDERS * * Not good enough. Unless all or the vast majority of their customers do not pay VAT or can claim it back then they are required to state their prices with VAT. Even then it must be displayed with every price that it excludes VAT. Definitely worth a complaint to the ASA as they are clearly breaching UK advertising rules. ________________________________________ Rich |

Slightly ranting along the lines of the adding vat thing but loads of sites now seem to take all your details, address etc before telling you the postage price! I had to buy a lpg sticker and instructions for a combi boiler I've just fitted at home. £7 bloody quid! Fills on details, £6.50 f-in postage! Grrr I agree it's annoying having to register for an account etc to then find that the price is no longer competitive overall. ________________________________________ |
