Well after 2 months of waiting and listening to promises that don't happen this is back up for sale.It was motd just after pugfest with 2 advisories for tyres so has about 10 months on it. it hasn't been used since begining of august when the tax ran out other than being started and moved up and down the private lane its parked on. Well, after thinking long and hard I can't justify keeping hold of the car so will be back up for sale in the very near future... just to put it into perspective I think I've managed about 500 miles since I bought the car back in September last year and it's a complete waste to have something so individual sat not being used! Proper thread to follow!  |

Having not actually got my act together last time I was going to sell, my brother used the car for a matter of weeks. He did about 100 miles in it and long story short had it towed home after it overheated on the A43 somewhere near oxford... since then it's been parked up and after playing with it and tidying up the other day there's definitely an issue. Not sure about HG, as Ryan told me the other day these engines are pretty much bullet proof so more likely to be thermostat. Ultimately I haven't got the time to fix her up so thought I'd let everyone on here know she's for sale before ending up on the dreaded eBay. Rather she didn't end up in the hands of someone she shouldn't!Since I bought the car from Ryan it was driven for about 500 miles, garaged for over a year and then briefly used again before being parked up about another year. I wasn't had overheated and been towed until last week... the joys of lending your car to your little brother... I've changed the interior to phase 3 gti 6 leather/alcantara and fitted my original cibie black masks but thats literally it (I still have the original crystals too), I love the sleeper look and this car is properly quick when it's running.
