I've seen you on Kirkstall road a few times too! here's mine! well if your ever stuck for anything give me a shout! see you around! p.s. get those GTi Badges off your door you're a Rallye! Crikey, go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose!!! Well I hope I've not been driving like a ruddy idiot when you've seen me! As for the badges, there are just on there mate, I've not a strong opinion about the look of my Rallye. Needless to say I don't have all the geek knowledge to be opinionated about such things yet. I wear my stripes with pride though and I'm that sad that I've got matching mats! Well, I had a great drive through the dales the other day, got a flat tyre for my efforts though, nail straight through the middle. Thankfully that was a £10 fix! So, I was soon back to doing tunnel runs through Leeds...but now something else is wrong! Water temperature is getting critical. Fan thermostat?! Any ideas geeks? P.s. Loving the banter! ________________________________________ Black 306 Rallye ownerIf you like to read a bit of car geekery, check out this webite run by my other half: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk |

Welcome to the club. Not many black rallyes about so good to see another one. I've had my red one over 2 years now and still love it. I'd definitely get to the bottom of the high water temps before the head gasket gets cooked or the head gets warped. Fan switch is first port of call as stated above. If so, check to see if its pressurising Hello by the way bad luck living in Leeds The fan did kick at about 85 the other day but soon went off again and hadn't really made an impact on the temperature. Leeds is great! I'd love to have the South/West/North Yorkshire banter but really I'm welsh! P.S. I LOVE being a black Rallye owner, feels special AND it looks BADASS! ________________________________________ Black 306 Rallye ownerIf you like to read a bit of car geekery, check out this webite run by my other half: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk |

How hot is hot? Is it creeping towards the red or just hovering between 90 and 100? ________________________________________ Almost standard 1999 Bianca RallyeHilux InvincibleX daily 306 No.13 Carp and specialist Anglers Click here |

Yeah, when I said 85, I meant 95! When I've got the blowers on hot the needles stays below 90. When they're not on it's been getting above 100 and even got into the red zone when I was stationary in traffic.________________________________________ Black 306 Rallye ownerIf you like to read a bit of car geekery, check out this webite run by my other half: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk |

Reds not good, too much of that equals head gasket renewal or even worse a warped head, needs checking out asap ________________________________________ Almost standard 1999 Bianca RallyeHilux InvincibleX daily 306 No.13 Carp and specialist Anglers Click here |
