Hi all, really close to ordering my bodies for the Rallye, just a bit hesitant to spend that kind of cash. SO the favour im after is, is anyone on here running bodies and lives in herts or carbs and would be kind enough to take me for a blast in they're pug? So I can see if I really want to spend out on them.thanks Alek ________________________________________ white rallyecherry dead rallye s16 |

+1 for bodies, anyone with throttle bodies as their avatar pic will say they are worth it though ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. On a standard engine your not going to see much of a gain in power but it will improve throttle response and obviously the induction noise. Add some cams and a good ecu and mapping then there is some bhp to be found. The engine in my avatar had some special piper regrinds, bosch 803 injectors and a bit of port work and produced 215bhp (cant remember the torque figure) on the same rollers it produced 165bhp in standard form. The only issue is the idle on really cold days on initial start up, after about a minute running its fine. |

What bodies are you going for? I'm seriously tempted, but I would want to run cams as well which can be troublesome on these engines, especially if the heads been skimmed.Don't fancy paying for pocketted pistons! ________________________________________ 1992 Onyx Black 205 GTI-62005 Honda S2000 (Sold) 2002 Audi S3 (Sold) 2005 Clio 182 Trophy (sold) |
