Ordered items for the 6 from Demon Tweeks last Weds said all in stock on internet & took full amount plus extra carriage charge for next day Delivery !!
Surprise surprise nothing delivered by Friday?

I ring up Friday & was told by a fantastic helpful lady that items are due in today Monday & I should get them this Weds....
My carriage would be fully refunded ...
Anyway went to Gerston hill climb to watch Pug Racing / Miles Sat & bought the items I wanted still boxed cheaper....

I rang DT 8.30 this morning to cancel my order ..only to be told items came in Sat & have been packed up ready to go ..they can't find parcel because of 300-400 others in cages mixed up ...
So I'm going to have to refuse delivery .!!!
And wait until they receive parcel back before I'm fully refunded £145.00
What a Joke !!!?

The way I understand that , is it not demon tweeks fault , that you bought them somewere else cheaper. Maybe you should of waited until after the show, if you knew you might of been buying something there.

I understand that there was a error with parts not been in stock, but mistake do happen.

Should of made it clearer .!!!

Bought items last Weds for Delivery last Thursday next day 24hr .!!!
Nothing came ...so next day after NO delivery ...Friday rang & was told they were out of stock & website was wrong & I would get it this Weds coming ....7 days later ...!!!!!
So I canceled order & asked for my money back !!!!
After that Sat saw stuff for sale @ Gerston hill climb ...bought it ...
Today Monday I get a Email to say goods gone out .!!!!
I rang & was told another mistake made & I will have to turn down delivery ....
When they receive goods back ...approx 9days from me paying & cancelling ....I will get my Debit card ..Credited ...
Few hope that makes sense Thumbs up

Maybe ?
Haven't used them for over 20yrs since my Mini racing days...

The young lady from Demon Tweeks said... ring & order by phone next time as Website does play up with stock availability .!!!
To be fair they were GREAT on the phone ...but I just want my Card credited by £145.00 not a small amount .!!! Wink

Ah, I was under the impression you rang to cancel the order this morning after buying the stuff on the weekend. I was going to say, you can't blame them for having packaged and sent the items despite their failing for displaying items in stock when they weren't.

I've spent £k's at Demon Tweeks over the years and have had no issues dealing with them over the phone, in fact I would commend them on there service. I have heard a few stories of them selling stuff that isn't in stock though, and now there on ebay (what appears to be several sellers names too) and when ordering stuff from there website, I would personally ring them up to order. Its always worthwhile asking for a club discount too!

I ordered loads of fuel parts and pipes from them And weld in plates for my harnesses. All showed in stock, I reviewed nothing for a week. I then rang them and the woman said conveniently the exact same thing they told you "oh it's going to be posted out first thing tomorrow" makes me think if I hadn't chased I would never have received.... She said one of the braided hose finishers wasn't in stock. (Though the site said it was) Would have been nice to know what the f**k was going on instead of waiting for over a week for something with next day delivery.....

I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They let me buy helmets of different sizes on sale or return, mate of mine even did the same with about four sets of seats, no problems.

No company is perfect.

I'm willing to bet you've caught a few lice from a few helmets in your time.

From what I understand allot of pages in there cat you have to pay for in advertising, they process the order and send the order to the company to ship direct, I know not many things I have ordered from them come from them.
Good to see you too, Missed all the action on Sunday

Ive used them for the best part of 20 yrs, and they always seem to get it right first time for me. Helpful on the phone, plus reasonably switched on with most cars.

Not always the cheapest, but prob one of the most reliable out there.

For better pricing, use their sister company - JJC Race and Rally.

I recently received something damaged from them. It's been 2 days since I contacted customer services with no reply but I will give them a chance to sort it as otherwise I'm perfectly happy with their super fast delivery.

I too find Demon Tweeks great and will haggle on price or price match sometimes, but they are always helpful and everything comes when it should most of the time.

    JJC are also very good!

Just to add to the other views that people have had over the years or just recently with Demon Tweeks i have used this company on and off for over 33 years, on various rs's and cosworth and my range of motorbikes ie fireblades and ducatis which i have owned over the years and have spent thousands with this company, i always have had excellent service from them and 9 times out of 10 the parts have turned up on time, when indicated, thought i would just add my views Thumbs up
