If I have a rear wiper I assume that it has to work for the MOT, if I don't one at all will it then pass? I've read about too many people breaking the screen trying to get the thing out!________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! nope, not a fail.never broken a screen getting one off, I do remember CUJ doing so, in his wisdom thought it was a clever idea to hit it with a hammer ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Well since I'm such a legend, or maybe the fact that I am an electrician, I've managed to get the multimeter and soldering iron out and sort it. The cover wasn't over the motor and I think it may have taken a knock whilst I've been rebuilding. Fifteen minutes work and it's back working!________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! When i had to change my motor I resorted to cutting my rear wiper arm off with a grinder and cutting blade, I wasClumsy and caught the glass so now have a grind scar in it! ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

I take no prisoners so if the plastic arm won't budge I snap it off and get a ball joint splitter behind it.________________________________________ |

ive taken it off or all my pugs with no problem whatsoever. ive got a box with 3 fully working motors in it sitting in my garage.if the wiper arms stuck a bit of wd let i soak for 20, then usually lettign the wiper arm snap up and down with the securing nut off will set it free big set of adjustable swan necks round the gay nut (that looks like washer/bung) and its off in a jiffy. then open the boot and remove all the shizznizz and bung up the whole in the glass (halfords or car spares sell em) that is if you want to remove it. if you want a replacement at a cheap price you know who to ask ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |
