Should have a round end with an Allen key grub screw either end, these hits are made to sit lots of other cars so are in effect universal.

Hope this helps. Thumbs up

The 'ball' on the end is just held on by a couple of Allen grub screws, do you have the one off of the old cable?

The genuine cable comes with the 'ball' as part of the cable, however you will need to cut the new one to length and then use the grub screw to tighten the new fitting onto the end as said. Yes

The kits should come with a small collar which tightens down onto the cable with a grub screw. Yes

If you don't have that then you can't fit it. Also, cutting the cable and 'soldering' your original bit on the end won't work. No

Exactly this, would make a weak point and would just snap under strain, not ideal!
