Would you believe the search didn't bring anything useful up?

Anyhow, got 4 freshly refurbed cyclones in my house and before I put them on I'm after something to put round the rim that will mean if I or my old man go too close to a kerb then the paint won't get destroyed.

Something like these rim strips:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rimblades-Alloy-Wheel-Protectors-Universal-Fitting-Black-/181129663915?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item2a2c2b55ab#ht_545wt_721

But they look like you just stick a piece of flimsy crap on and that's that.
Anyone recommend this kind of thing?

just fit tyres which don't sit flush with the edge of the rim.

i know not everyones cup of tea, but i really liked toyo t1r on my first rallye. they have slightly more on the sidewall which can prevent damage to the rim.

C5 is the dogs.

http://gtechniq.com/main-page/

Please read instructions carefully or check gtech application thread etc. This stuff just protects paint from dirt and brake dust like no other product then all u need is to jet wash what ever dirt gets on them, it makes the surface so smooth dirt just gets repelled you see.

Or you could jus be more careful when parking, i use lipped edged tyres as i like them.

To be honest, even with a 50 profile you have got to be pretty negligent to curb a cyclone. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.
