Thought I’d post a project thread for my P1 Diablo.

I bought her from Stuwee on 101k (saving her from being broken for parts!) and she was in a bit of a sorry state Doh She had been sat for a year on axel stands and needed a bit of love Love

Firstly massive thank you to mattgti6phase2 and Stuwee Yes

I started by stripping the brakes, painted the calipers gloss black, and bought and fitted new pads and discs all round. The P Bushes, Brake hoses, N/S and O/S Driveshafts and Exhaust all needed replacing, as well as a full service. Over two days (and with a few broken nails Angry a very late night, various swear words and lots of energy drinks ) we managed to get her ‘MOT ready’ and she sailed through with no advisories. Then all she needed was a good wash and detail which she got when I got her home Thumbs up

Now to save for more shiny bits Hyper

Loads of pictures sorry Big grin

Another Diablo with nice paint whilst mine is s**te. What is going on! I need to get one of those pop up covers to work on the car in the rain. A broken nail is nothing, I can't even see any blood. That's the sign of a good days work on a Peugeot

Mine has a forever home, it's similarly perched on axle stands out the front of my house, been there a solid 26 months now. Be back on the road June 2013!

Good to see her back on the road. Wasn't too bad to get everything done eh?

It's quite pleasing to save a car from death especially as these cars get broken for parts too often these days. This one doesn't go too bad either after blowing the cobwebs out the other night LOL

I'd say its a massive step up from that German piece of s**t you had! French ftw all day everyday!!!

Im really pleased with her Big grin She drives really nicely too considering she had been sat for so long, the cobwebs have definitely been blown away..

I was told it was quite rare to see a P1 on an R Dunno

I've never broken a nail as a result of working on the car before, first time for everything !
