Anyone bought the kit from Spoox, it's got the full set of wishbone mounts (front and rear) a new ball joint and pinch bolt. I'm just wondering what people think of them, or should I just spend the extra bit of cash and go for Rich_W roller badboys?

Kit's Ok bar the Powerflex bush's, why downgrade the std bush, Doesn't say if the ball joints are TRW either which I find are far the best but not the cheapest by far,

I sell and run the Vibra Tech's bush's and they stand up very well to Motorsport abuse.

I've heard a few people say that the Powerflex bushes aren't upto much, never used them. IIRC I had Vibra engine mounts on my 205 which were tidy enough. The ball joints were something which did put me off since they were unbranded which doesn't say much for them

Late blingo/partner rear bush, std fronts, find decent balljoints, job done, lots of cash saved.

If its not a race or rally car you dont need metal imo.

The trouble with the rear mounts in the Spoox kit is that it looks like the bush is an interference fit on the wishbone, but IMO there isn't enough rubber to allow flex. From that, I'm assuming that the metal inner of the bush must rotate on the wishbone stub... Which I would imagine would wear out one or both parts pretty quick!?!

Ok, but where is the movement in the bush? There doesn't look to be enough rubber for it to flex?

A bit more goes into bush design than just the amount of rubber used determining how much flex the bush give.

I'm not sure what the shore rating of the Vibra mounts is, but I use their P-bushes and have had no issues... other than one of them being too much of an interference fit on my wish bone

That's fair enough, I've not used them, but just had doubts over the design.

This^Yes

Ran roller bearing wb bushes on mine for a few weeks, too harsh imo for road use.
They are metal to metal contact, feel horrible if you touch cats eyes etcThumbs down

Be awesome on a track car, as they really do tighten up the front endThumbs up
And theres no cats eye on a track to rattle your fillings out!!!!Crazy

HMMM, very interesting.
So when you guys say late blingo p bush, what years do you mean.
Are they harder rubber due to the extra weight of it being a van ?
Would you put blingo front bushes in too ?
What should I look for in the ball joint when I replace it, are there better ones out there I should go for?
I am going to replace all the bushes up front including arb bushes and drop links. I have some pretty good bilstein b4s on the way with -30mm springs. I decided to put these on as I got them really cheap to tide me over as the ones on at the moment are shot. I would like to put something harder on later when funds permit and was considering the bilstein b8 eibach spring combo.
Would these go well withe the blingo bushes or should I go for rollers then to get the best out of the b8's?
Sorry for the questions, its just you fellas are pretty useful at this.
thanks in advance

So I've worked out that I am going to get some of Rich_W's lovely roller bearings, what do I go for on the rest of the front bushes (drop links, TRE and ball joints) Peugeot or should I be looking elsewhere?

apologies for the brief answer up there, I had a broken keydoarb.

you'll need the short bolt that screw up into the P-Bush, as the ally ones use M10x1.25 instead of M8x1.25, dealer probably best to get them as they're a fine thread not an off the shelf one.

otherwise, they seem to work just fine, no stiffer than the earlier o.e and time will tell if they last longer, should think they would, and can always bosh some Polyurethane in there if they do fail.
