After taking the cat off to see if I could remove the centre pipe that was welded on, I noticed there was a slit in one of the ridges on the bottom. I'm not 100% sure if its gone straight through but I'd say it would be close to say the least.

What are pattern parts from factors like e.g. fitments or are they pretty hit and miss depending who they're off? I've got to get a centre pipe off my local factors so I was going to check the price on the cat too

Also if I do get a new cat any tips on getting a seized sensor out without damaging it?

Cheers

Put the sides of the lambda nut into a vice and use the CAT as a lever and unscrew it. Plenty of rust penetrant first though. Yes
