the mounting plates are welded into the car, its just flat bar so it would be very easy/cheap to make up new ones

having no plates really put me off buying a used cage but after seeing the plates i got with my new omp they are so easy to make i would buy a used cage next time and save some money

indeed. if you were to go to a fabrication place, engineers etc you'd more than likely get enough

material for a tenner!...infact i will have a dig at work to see what iv'e got kicking about, i may be

able to throw some steel in for nothing

Could be very tempted by this.

How easy is it to fit once I've got some mounts made up? Just weld in, then bolt to mounts?

I pretty much fitted it on my own on the morning of French Car Show last year.
