I've just come to fit a second hand Nissen radiator I had off here, but there appears to be a plug missing (or location for something) it is on the front of the bottle section, about a third of the way up, on the front almost of where the oil takeoff point is. What is this hole? I would compare it to the other radiator but gypo's have been while I was in work today and took the old radiator and air con rad!________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! I deleted my messages as it was all full. Couldn't remember who I had it off. I shall attempt to, my phone is dead and don't have a charger at the moment. ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Hmmm. That's not really the answer I was hoping for, that means something has broken and I am really up s**t creak. I think I still have the packaging, I'll see if anything has broken off in that.________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Yeah the oil connector is on the "back of the rad" (the side that faces the engine) this is on the "front" end of it, which is what made me wonder what the hell it was. There was something in the packaging, they have snapped the blow of pipe connector off, it was in the packaging, great stuff. Hadn't even noticed that. I've been giving it a good look and it doesn't look like something has broken________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Yeah I just read that back and realised I may have banged my head at some point before I wrote it. I mashed too many sentances into one. To answer the first question: The oil takeoff pipe/connector is on the rear of the radiator and is still attached, this hole that I have is on the front of the radiator (that faces the bumper) I looked in the packaging and there was nothing in there that looked like it came from there, plus the hole doesn't look like something has been broken. I've put compressed air into this hole and I can feel pressure at the lower hose connector so it is part of the water cooling rather than the oil heater. I did find something in the packaging, it was the small stub that the overflow pipe connects to (next to the filler cap), I can fix that it's not an issue. I just hadn't noticed until now that it wasn't there. ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Yeah there was a shedload of packaging, but obviously something has gone tits up. In all fairness they did just leave it in my shed, didn't even sign for it. ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected!
