Anyone ever used these? I've been looking on eBay and found a full set for £220, front/rear shocks and 30 mm lowering springs. I'm guessing at that price they're probably s**t but if on the off chance a few of you guys think they're half decent I may get a set. Or on the other hand does anyone have any recommendations on a set of shocks, don't really want to spend more than £300. Cheers craig |

B4s any good? As I don't really want to spend £500 on b8/b6. Think I saw b4s on eBay for about £160 (will double check) just for the fronts |

B4 are like standard shocks. Guess it all depends on what your after. Might pay to look for 2nd hand b8s on here.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

What do you want from the car? Fresh B4's may satisfy you enough. ________________________________________ |

I'm looking to lower my car around 40mm and stiffen it up a bit. I think It sounds like I'm going to have to stretch my budget to get what I want. Thanks for you replies.Ps. It's not like me to buy cheap, it's just with these cars being worth f**k all at the moment I was just trying to find a 'half decent' set up for a bit less cash. |

I have had a b4 set up with b4 zx rear shocks ans pi's at 30mm drop. It was a nice ride and handled very well.tho i did have a hybrid arb as well. Good set up for looks and road on the track it needs to be a little stiffer.________________________________________ Ph2 Black GTI 6!EX black 6 owner But now a Black caged rallye owner Hunting for Go faster bits! Trouble with standard shocks is 30mm drop is ver little you may need to go for 40 or even 60 ? B8s have shorter bodies over b4s |

No experience with shocks but the springs were renowned as the best setup on our old rover turbos. Very nice.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
