Guess who snapped off a wheel nut that had been impacted on in the garage? That would be me! Is there enough length to get molegrips on him? No! Did trying to use an easy off end just snap off in the wheelnut? Yes it bloody did!

Long story short. I need a drivers side front hub. It may well turn into driver and passenger if the nut doesn't come out of the hub on the other side now Thumbs down

Do you have a welder? Or no someone with one? weld a smaller bolt onto it. Worked for me when I had one snap on me.

It's snapped so close to the hub I've literally got no chance of getting anything on it, I'll end up just welding it straight to the hub! I was thinking of attempting to just butcher it out now because if I have to get another hub then I might aswell try my best to get this out. It get better though, the garage seem to have used the impact on my locking wheelnut, so I had to get the reverse thread wheel nut remover on those to get them off as the thread was stripped.

Speed and confidence has got me this far in life, I'm sure it will bode well on my attempt to get the car track ready! To add more issues, I had a letter today saying that I hadn't declared my car SORN again (because some idiot decided it should last only 12 months) so I've just had to pay £80 fine. Fan-f**king-tastic

What size hub are you going to be needing ? 16mm or 18mm ball joint hole ? (Larger size on later cars)
