Its not to bad a job bit time consuming the first time round. Theres not that may bolts to undo really. When you get to the point of pulling the dash away look out for wires cable tied to the back of the dash theres a few of them. Its a shame the pics are gone i use the faq in helped big time. Also you probery already know to disconnect the battery 10 mins ish before removing the steering wheel airbag.

Not that difficult at all! Its useful to have two people to lift it out of the car but other than that, piece of p**s.

Exactly this. Once youve finished putting it back in, look at the pot of screws and bolts you have left over. If none of them are big, dont worry about it! Its just another rattle!

First time doing one took me 2.5 hrs with a tea break and a phone call. Nothing broken or cut.

Yeah, had mine done and it looks the nuts. But no, there's nothing "difficult" about removing it, just frustrating. There are lots of looms cable-tied to bits that don't really need to be, lots of clips you're unfamiliar with and screws and fixings in places that aren't obvious.

Just be patient, and don't lose your rag or you'll break something. And don't forget the bolts in from the engine bay, that's the standard bit to forget Thumbs up

Black's absolute fine, but I didn't get it done myself - I bought it off Ollie (Pugheaven) who'd already had it done, so I never got a choice. Had I have had the choice however I'd still have gone for black - the point of flocking in a track car is it's as dark and unreflective as possible so it doesn't cast distracting reflections in your windscreen and windows.

If you're doing it for aesthetics then that's different, just go for whichever you prefer.

I'd say it depends on your carpets and such - grey on black carpet and upholstery could look good, whereas grey on grey would look too bland I reckon.

Neither do I. Standard bags are great. I use them as gloves.

I can't be the only person who does this.
