Been having a lot of problems with a 'simple' front pad and disc change, all the sliders were seized, and one slider being made up of steel rod and a welded nut. I've ordered new sliders for that side but i thought i'd check the carrier over properly and the made up one has snapped with about 1/4 of it left in the carrier.

Are there any other models that I can get another one off from the scrapyard?

Cheers

Post something in the wanted forum, people always changing brakes on their 6. Or someone is breaking a 6 that is selling the brakes

Thanks, just phoned up to see if my local scrappy has any of those in stock.

Cheers for the link, I've put up an ad but if I can help it I only want to buy the carrier rather than the whole caliper as if it fails the MOT in 3 weeks time i'll be taking it apart
