Hi Guys,
please can somebody tell me where to find this on a 2000 (phase 3) '6'. Haynes manual shows on LHS at about '9 o clock' but I can't see anything that looks similar or with a square recess. There is a hex head head screw at about the '3 o clock' position though. Is this it ? Any advice appreciated.

To be honest I never use this plug.

When I do a box oil change I drain it completely then refill through the breather at the top with 2 litres. Smile

I generally get the box nice and warm and then dump the oil and leave it for a day or overnight so I get as much as possible out. Yes

Then refill with 2 litres. Seeing as the correct capacity is 2.1 litres and you won't get the last 100ml out as it's still clung to the innards I reckon it's a good system.
