Think you mean rebuilt engine then recon head  Either way it sounds the same as my rallye all though that wasn't down on power ? Big ends tend to knock when they go rather than rattle. If as I suspect the engine had a belt go at some point the pistons take a whack ? Seen all sorts of damage caused and despite what certain welsh people think I know exactly what I,m talking about Start saucing a new engine it will be cheaper in the end |

it had a replacement engine due driving through a large puddle then the headgasket went and a recon head was put in with all new gasket etc  ________________________________________ Team Moonstone Team Working Aircon |

Exactly I doubt someone bought a brand new bottom end and then a brand new head  |
