My reason for asking is I fixed a gti6 with an oil leak which one of the local peugeot garages had charged £100 to make the problem worse *edit* oh and a different one refused to admit there was ever a phase 1 gti6... ________________________________________ Team Moonstone Ph3 GTI6Team Rallye |

Have you done a compression check? And when replacing the engine, did you lose any tools in the process? ________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! I know there is no little end bearings but the piston is connected to the rod some how yes ? And it is not beyond possibility that one of the little ends of a rod is failing ? Say after a belt snap earlier in life ? Either way I'd say its defo a bottom end failure |

well it was either an engine or a head, can't be the two now can it, or is is the first twin head gti6?and I bet they were not "new" ... can you get a vid of the noise? no need to take the bumper off just to fit the bottom hose, just lube up the o-ring and it will just pop in, moving the washer reservoir can help. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
