What we need to remember is Stan and the others are Moderators.
There is only one Administrator who can make the more significant changes.
A team of Moderators and a few Administrators is what is required - overseen by Ash.
Perhaps the key Moderators we currently have could be given Administritive rights.
This would all make sense and be how 99% of other boards work, but what we are up agaisnt is the fact that is board isn't your standard board. I can't imagine Stan has the coding knowledge required to make the differences he probably would be willing to.
So in effect a couple of techy people should be given small adminisitritive rights to be able to make small changes where required.
0wain always put his hand up the first time round to offer help where he could when Ash was initially silent when the new forum change was brewing. At the same time Stan (as a standard member) sat and posted 'lets hope the best happens' 'lets gather some opinions' etc etc and for that was given Moderation rights.
0wain laid down hosting packages, directions in which the site could go forwards to make it quicker and more stable.
As he wasn't listened to - and as we read was in fact ignored after offering proposed packages, I can understand why he is slightly frustrated.
