Wanted to know if they could be stripped down and acid dipped the clean them up then rebuild them paint and put on the car

is it ok to paint them red or will it make them get hotter faster, should i use blue to keep them nice and cool?

no, red is sacriledge, they must be yellow or silver zinc passivated only, or rust coloured.

Actually it's blue/violet but you have to paint the sliding surfaces of the piston itself as well. It's because the lower wavelength associated with the colour blue means blue things absorb lower frequency vibrations naturally, so when you're going over rough ground the low frequency vibration of the car going over the bumps is absorbed naturally by the blue, which means the pistons have a greater internal energy so that when you press the brake pedal this energy can be released rapidly, reducing the response time of the brakes and massively improving performance. It also apparently helps stop them squealing so much for similar reasons, but I've seen plenty of blue callipers that still squeal.

    Or anyother bmw colour
    Or focus rs white
    Or rolex pearl


    Oh sorry i though this was the one with the bare shell being painted.

    Paint them valencia orange

    Zinc or black or bare.

    NO red. Unless they're originally red from factory. Even then, dip tank them and paint them black
