Urm my reply to my email:Hi sorry pal slip of the tongue, outer body panels wount rust as they are alli as stated and ill vouch for that as owned the car about 15 months and it hasnt any rust on areas panit has come off, like i say you can see this in pics. As to dyno print out id ring collins performance of congleton and see what they say, theyve been in the tunning game years and built the legendary desert storm sapphire cosworth so knowing tolerences of cams and engine is there specialality i doubt they would upset there reputation for a chip claiming false power? i do have print out for 15.2 sec 1/4 miles. cheers Ben. - r.5.gtt Is theres something where missing ________________________________________ cherry p1.....SOLD (regreting this)blaze p2.....why did i buy this SOLD Black p3 |

15.2sec 1/4 mile! What the f**k was he doing? Having a coffee when the lights went green? My previous 6 what was 167bhp was running 14.7s and all that had was an exhaust and filter. NO 190bhp Colins chip tho.Most chips or remaps on these cars will see you no more than 180bhp if its a good one. Just text the bloke... Hiya mate i am very interested in your gti6. Looks a tidy example. Any proof of it running 200bhp? Do you have much experiance in the 1/4mile? Should have been running faster than 15s 1/4 mile. Most chips will only see around 180bhp max thats why i ask for proof of bhp, just with the spec of your car aswell just seems a bit high. Also with the age of your car i would have thought it would be down on power as well. Sorry for all the questions. "Ay up pal, are you interested in the car or just tyre kicking?collins performance in congleton claim 10-15% increase in power its a very torquey engine anyway! no there isnt a dyno print out if this is what youd like to see i have 15.2 sec 1/4 mile times on print out. if you go off collins performace a minimum 10% increase of the stock 167 bhp is 184bhp and the stainless and decat are added that should be a minimum upping of 8bhp thats upping the pug to 192bhp add 2 bhp for the k&n your up to 194bhp im being very stingy there and going off minimum gains here, this is a quick car and will pull off the clock strongly over 150mph. if it will out pull a mk2 golf r32 252bhp standard admittedly 4wd and heavier but this points to my figures being accurate in and around the ball park figure....i dont think collins performance would risk there reputation on giving out fake bhp claims to make a few quid..after all they have built legendary cars like the dessert storm sapphire cossy ect this isnt just your local tuning garage. sorry about the slip of my tongue your right the body shell of the car isnt alli but the outer body panels are but im sure you knew this, i noticeed the mistake after re reading the ad but thought people that knew a little about cars would over see this and ignore the slip of the tongue. I think your being abit predantic swifty, ive waisted my time and done some ringing around and searchesyour correct mild steel galvernised in some way, so the body panels are nt alli, but on the other hand i havent advertised alluminium ive advertised the panels as this as i was told they were and it made sense that the panels hadnt rusted and around 15 months later and still havent, so my advert of non rusty panels is not misleading. And for the chip correct collins say we cant proove anything with out dyno print out, but they do say they experience good results with the gti6 and s16's...But futhering my searches i managed to find a standard spec car 1/4 mile time of 16.4 seconds and i have a print out of a 15.2 second run for this car which to me points into the right direction of the cars bhp. i mean come a standard 167bhp car add 10% for a chip 184 bhp 7 bhp for de cat and full stainless and 2 bhp for k&n they are all mimimum possible gains.... This equals 193 bhp..this car has fulled away down a dual carridge way from a mk2 252bhp golf...almost the same speed as mk1 civic typeR but instead of the honda weighing in at around 1000kg the pug is over 1200kg this will back claims, i understand your sceptism from somebody you dont know but these arent false claims, i did have a vid of the r32 pull ill have to see if i can get hold of it.
