I'm looking to replace mine, do you guys have any recommendations? Car will be lowered probably no more than 40mm. Won't be going on track or anything, just normal everyday use |

Xsara Picasso ones are a good choice for lowered cars as they are longer than the 306 ones.________________________________________ Rich |

Standard. Mine cost about a tenner each and have survived a trackday battering, they love it. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

none, the arb will just rotate in the bushes to suit the lower ride height without any additional stresses.i'm not sure they'd even fit as both balljoints point the same way not opposites like the 306 ones. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

That's what i was struggling to get my head round. Couldn't think as to why they'd be better. ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

ah, seems ECP has a s**t picture they are the same type of fitting but as mentioned, no need to use longer weaker ones.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Don't go off the picture on ECP, they have a rule of three for every item you order:1) The picture is of one items 2) The description is of the second item 3) The third item is the one that actually turns up These three items are never the same. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

So lemforder plastic ones are better than pug ones? Or on par but cheaper? Fitted some continental ones on mine from motaquip, bolts split within 2 months of being fitted but to be fair drivers side is just started to knock after 2 years/20k miles, so not bad for £14 a pair I suppose ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Which is fine, but there's a finite angle available on the joints, which will definately create extra stresses..... ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. I didn't think the arb could rotate as it has raised lumps on the bar and dimples in the blubber mounts?? |

welshpug! wrote: you aren't operating outside its designed window, other than too low. More angle = exponential increase in wear. Whether it's in the operating window or not. It's similar in effect to tightening your wishbone bushes with the car in the air.... ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Re tightening wishbone bolts in the air Is it possible to do it on flat ground when its under its own weight? surely theres no room? or is it just the final nip ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
