It pains me to say that my gti6 is a complete mess after I was involved in an accident on Monday evening in stourport as a stupid woman decided to t-bone me as I was approaching the Kidderminster dual track. I am currently sat in hospital with broken ribs and a punctured lung ( which is nothing when you look at the state of the car ) Yes
My mrs and son were both in the car aswel and luckily they are both fine, except for a bit of bruising to my mrs stomach and chest from her belt. Obviously the main thing is that everyone is ok, but now I know we're all ok ( with exception to me) I can't help but feel gutted about my carNo I realise my 306 was not as high spec as a lot on here but it was my pride and joy and it guts me that all the money, time and effort I put into it has been destroyed by a stupid idiot who wasn't watching where she was going. I'm guessing ill probably only get around £600 from her insurance company aswel! I will try and get some pics up but I'm on my phone so don't know if I can as they are all on Facebook.

Sorry to hear that, but as you say - it could have been so much worse.

Personal injury claim will bring you in more money than the payout on the car, if it's proved to be her fault.

instead of charging a 6 with the money, why not use it to treat your family as you were all in there together and think yourselves lucky they didn't get seriously hurt too.

Take care of your family first mate before you think about buying another '6' would be my advice. Smile

Stan, are you resorting to stealing my advice now? (or are we just similar family guys who sit at home in front of the telly with a cup of tea and a computer on our laps?).
