Had to remove the orange ones as they were far too back and without the orange ones there still too big to go inside the speedlines. I have spigot rings off my last set of spacers i had when i had the pro 1.2s on the astor. They spigot rings fit nice onto the pug hub but the spacer is still too big for the hub and spigot rings if you know what i mean?

Only way these will fit is if i get very thick spigot rings for the hub and file the end of the spacer to fit inside the wheel! Not happy as they are ment to be a straight ford-pug fit!

Perservere with it Eddy, wheels look great, if you have a way of getting them on then go for it.

Shame you've been messed about but hopefully they will fit

You sure the speedline's are ford fitment, i brought the spacers with some ford wheels that came off a 306 to fit my new 306 1.4 but was'nt happy with the wheels so sold wheels and spacers seperate, the lad who brought the wheels fitted them to his ford fiesta without problems, these are deffo ford to pug.

72.6 to 65.1

Dropped the spacers and a wheel off with daver6 to see if he can cut them down a little to fit the wheel side and obce i get them back i will go see if i can get some spigot rings for the hub side.
Also had my tracking done. Was a mile out! Both wheels were pointing in around 15-20oC Shock all sorted now and feel much better on the road and round corners.
Still having the broblem with mu brakes tho, i think it may be the servo needs adjusting as when i press the peddle in it looks to be trying to push the master cylinder out! Could this cause my peddle to always be hard?

inside the servo there's a little domed nut on the top of the servo rod, which you can rotate and turn in so there's less push (play) etc. i had to wind mine in a bit on my 205 using a gti6 master cylinder by about 3-4mm

So i need to take the master cylinder off to do this? Was thinking of just putting the XSI master cylinder back on LOL

Think am going to keep the car diablo now instead of getting it painted indigo. Less hassle and cheaper... And i quite like the look of it now Cool

unless you have a problem elsewhere maybe even a damaged MC, i'd probably try the rod and mark it's position so you can revert back if the problem doesn't go away or just swap back to the xsi MC and see what's what

Think the XSI master cylinder will be good enough to be honest, i cant see the GTi6 master cylinder making that much difference?

Thanks Seb Thumbs up

Spacers now fit in the wheels thanks to daver6 taking a little bit off the wheel side of the spacer yesterday Thumbs up then it cost me £20 for spigot rings. £5each for a luttle round bit of plastic, WTF! was expecting to pay half that LOL

Also just bought a hybrid ARB, solid rear axle mounts and roller bearing wishbones off rat boy. Now just waiting on jeffers to get his new torsion bars so i can have his xsara ones then i can get my old astor GTi6 rear axle built up and fitted in the new year.
Also waiting on a price back from JJC for an oil cooler with 5/8 moquip lines and thermostatic plate off ebay

Car should have been going in for painting today but blokes decided do go away for 10days now so thats not going to happen Angry never mind. Going to fit the speedlines today i think and help jake sort a few bits and bobs with his 205 gti6
