More than likely that stiff and doesn't centre because you've disturbed the tracking when you moved the wishbones up. Had this on my 6 when I replaced the wishbones (with cheap ones:/) a couple of years ago and the tracking was waaaaay out. Once done it was all back to normal.

Had quite a busy weekend getting things done while the weather has been good. Managed to get my new wheels painted and they look much better now i think and will suit the indigo paint once i get the car painted next week. Also went this morning to get the tyres put on. Really want to put these on but i am going to try hold back till the cars painted.

Also had to put my cyclones back on as the tyres on the other speedlines are totally f**ked now! Cars booked in thursday morning to get the tracking done what will hopefully sort the issue off my tyres scrubbing the outside tread off.
Yesterday i got round to fitting the Wilwoods and GTi6 master cylinder. Not a lot of clearance between the calliper and cyclone but it fits without spacers. JUST!

And this morning i replaced the floppy rubber intake pipe with a new black silicone pipe and moved the filter a bit further back from the rad too

my old v6 had a bleed nipple threaded in so you could bleed the system properly, i believe it's a bit of an issue with the 406 v6 engine / system, or has that been done? or does it not apply now it's in the 306 for some reason?

nice, and where did this belief come from they did not clear?! LOL

I have seen them behind speedline 1508's and PR1.2's without spacers too, iots not the diameter thats the issue, but the clearance to the hub of the wheel.

Everyones always said to have used 10mm spacers but i dont see any need. Maybe ig there running smaller discs and brackets then yes i can see 10mm spacers being needed otherwise it will foul the centre of the wheel

Just got a price back from a lad local to me who does custom cages. £450 for a fully fitted 6 point weld in cage with rear X, harness bars and front legs mounted through the dash instrad of infrobt like the OMP cages. Price does not inc. Painting tho.
Got my bonnet catches to try and fit before the weekend if i find some time and the weather holds off

looks like the same d8 engine which was in my coupe and the hydraulic clutch is all a closed system so you can't bleed it if needbe and is apparently a pain in the arse. thus when the engine was out the previous owner put a bleed nipple in

Well would be cheaper than a full change but up to you.

No point spending too much money on it as its only gonna be broken in a few weeks time LOL

I reckon keep it the same colour as to do a proper job engine bay etc it will cost plenty and if you don't the old-colour engine bay will look naff.

If you keep the current colour and just get the bits you need done, then do a full DIY detail so it shines it will look really good.

Thats what i was thinking. Buying a diablo ph3 boot lid and front and rear bumper then paint the doors and a good polish. Job done Smile then i would paint the engine bay the same colour as my wheels
