Hi all,
Thought i would join your forum as i have just bought a 306 Gti6 cherry red p2.
Bit of an impulse as my mate was selling it, beer was had car was bought.
I do have two 205 GTI both 1600 and garaged but i do intend to use the 306 as a daily drive as i don not do much driving.
I hear the cherry red gti6 is a rare color, are they worth any more?
He has had the car 6 years and was not the type to drive it on the red line. It was a UK car originally (like most if not all in Ireland) and was imported to Ireland maybe 7 years ago, completely standard but needs slight tidy on bumpers and wheels.
Looking forward to a new forum.

Any plans for it?
Not really worth any more than any other 6 as you can pick them up dirt cheap now. Anywhere from £400 to £2000+ but done seem to see many of the higher priced ones selling well. Make more money back breaking them Whistle ask ash (roland rat) Laugh my ass off

No wont be breaking it, paid 1400 euro (or will have not picked it up yet). Dont know whats the plans are yet as i said it is completely standard so wont be f*&king with it too much, wheels need a referb so might change the color a touch a light grey maybe. Wont be touching the body except fix a few marks. Engine not sure, not going to spend big money as my days of drag racing and stuff are behind me now.

Cheers for the welcome lads.

7057sam that is also in the back of my mind but the 306 is very clean and would be a shame to break it. Also i can see myself driving it for a while and then garage it with the 205's.

Welcome Jimmy Wave

Cherry was available in all phases, not so common as a Phase 2/3 (I haven't seen many at all) Dunno Something that cannot be said for the Astor Grey (Phase 3 only) examples IMO Ninja

"Only ever 60 Astor examples in the UK"... Sorry but that is a complete Myth!
