what phase car?you could add a threaded adapter with a takeoff and put one in that way. i think the p1 6's had oil pressure as standard on the speedo. i know my p1 xsi had it ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

As said above, you will need to buy a sender and a suitable gauge for this to work. If you plumb it in where the oil pressure switch is situated, you will need an adaptor to be able to run both the switch and the sender. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I know there are two places you can use in the block Mei, however the reason I suggested the OP would need an adaptor is due to the sentence quoted below:boost wrote: might just wire it to the oil temp switch This indicated to me that he wished to use the same access point to run the pressure switch AND the gauge sender in which case an adaptor would be needed. See, Stan is not wrong, just misunderstood. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

To save you the ball ache of searching to find the thread in the block behind where the starter motor goes it's M16x1.5 (Just below the core plug)I fitted an adapter in there to take it down to M10x1. which is what my sender was. I can't remember off hand whether the sender needs a live supply or grounding, then the other tab on it goes to the gauge signal in tab which is labelled 'S'. The gauge then needs a live feed to the '+' tab and earth to the other tab. The two tabs on the black bit are for an earth and live for the backlight. Heres the back of my VDO pressure gauge. Quite a simple thing to do if you are ok with spanners. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

I agree, but you've still got to find an ignition switched live and route the cables somehow from the engine bay to the passenger cabin. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
