so would i be able to wire a gauge to that switch to get some sort of reading ? i lost the sender LOL

no, you need to fit a sender, a switch is purely that, a switch, on/off.

You will need to obtain another sender. Also, remember that the thread in the block is M16 x 1.5 so if the sender you buy is different to this then you will need an adaptor to allow you to fit it. Smile
