anyone know where the oil pressur sensor is n how would i wire an oil pressure gauge to it ?  ________________________________________ 97 1.6 xs gti6 conversion scrapped99 black rallye ( low miles and immaculate  ) soldnew owner of a 2001 diablo red hdi mile muncher swapped99 red rallye turbo sold then died  00 moonstone 1.9d (slow) |

As said above, you will need to buy a sender and a suitable gauge for this to work. To save you the ball ache of searching to find the thread in the block behind where the starter motor goes it's M16x1.5 (Just below the core plug)I fitted an adapter in there to take it down to M10x1. which is what my sender was. I can't remember off hand whether the sender needs a live supply or grounding, then the other tab on it goes to the gauge signal in tab which is labelled 'S'. The gauge then needs a live feed to the '+' tab and earth to the other tab. The two tabs on the black bit are for an earth and live for the backlight. Heres the back of my VDO pressure gauge.  Quite a simple thing to do if you are ok with spanners. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |
