Sounds like a plan, as I say unless it's at a rock bottom giveaway price it won't go anyway unfortunately, and you wouldn't want to let it go for peanuts so I agree with you - turn it into a track slag! Devil

^^ That would be a great shame, especially when it could be turned into a track car fairly easily and cheaply. Smile

Indeed but who can really afford to keep a car to be used 5 days a year?

If it was me i'd raffle it off.I sell 49 tickets at £75 each and then when the bonus ball is drawn on the lotto thats the winning number of the new owner Thumbs up

Im sure alot of members (me inclued) would take a punt instead of spending the cash on low grade coke and ugly hookers

Mark - You should have had interest on here but it's the same situation with Sam's car...no-one's buying anything at the moment. Sad

    This.

Its one month beofre Christmas FFS, If you changed the date to march 2013 then I would be all over it like a rash and you would get 4k for it.
    You have 3 options
    Break
Sell at a stupid price like 2.8k
wait till march/april get way more

    I'm not no.
But March /April is when people have money to spend on 12 years old cars with mods.
    Just before December isnt.
I'd have to be silly not to consider it wouldnt I, I'm supercharging my car in April
    Its China.
    It will cost me 4k
    Your car is 3.8k
Realistically I could probably knock you down a tat leaving me about 2.5k in pocket after I sell my car.

Why does it need "turning" into a track car? just use it as it is.

Ok then i may hold on for better money for it, but be aware that some parts may be sold off seperately if decent offers come in. I really should try to sell some of my spare parts too

    Deffo chuck the parts,
Other wise they get lumbered into the overall cost and have no value (to you)

They will, but I don't think it'll be for around 5 years or maybe more. These cars are still not classed as rare yet so demand no extra premium. Thumbs up

    Not really,
Maybe a rallye as there f**k all left of them now, with all the breaking going on.

I dont particularly care though, teh way I look at it is.
Question:What kind of car do I want
Answer: A Car that is pretty light by modern standards, With good steering feel and handling, but is as quick as its modern counterparts, while having lower running costs than them and generally easy to maintain yourself.

    Ticks all the boxes.
