Hello people, I can't believe no one has posted up anything about this program!

I've been following from episode one and it makes for good entertainment.

And I have to say the restorations appear to be done to a very good standard; not as thorough as I would like though.

That Bernie Fineman guy from that show where he worked with Lipu making one off (crap) cars is on it, however, this time he's teamed up with some Canadian called Mario Pacione.

A lot of the show seems staged; the arguing, the accidents etc, but they put the car together well and make a profit. Plus at the end of the show you can enter a competition to win the car.

So far they've done a Jag E type, Porshe 911 (I think), an MGB, and now they're over in Canada and have done a Ford mustang and this week it's a Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

It kills Monday evenings very well, plus I'm a sucker for an old shiny car...

Good restorations? Are you kidding?

The show is a f**king joke and I refuse to help that c**t and his viewing figures.

Dear God, that show is awful. Why do they feel the need to act (badly) like the Krays when flogging car parts?

if they had done the porker properly it'd be worth a damn sight more than £20k, a friend of a friend had a 911 Supersport done by the place they went to buy the whale tail from, cost £60k to do the job, and it really is like a new car, now its worth about £65k.

Thats a w**k profit margin for something with that much time and effort gone into it then. Lot of risk too if it doesn't achieve the desired figure at the end of all that graft. I'd prefer to put less work in, keep it more original, and turn a bigger profit margin faster. They aren't making full restorations, just making them presentable working cars in the two weeks they have and moving on to the next one (like most car dealers) they just don't have the time or the need to buld a car from the ground up every fortnight.
