You've only got 46 years until you die. Make the most of it; buy the car if it makes you happy. Smile

This. I nearly bought one of these in the late nineties but opted for the 205 instead. I'd still love to own one though...

best get 20k+ out...then Carl will buy it before you!!!

Find me a nice one and I want be tempted although I may have to have an extension built to house it.

Banksey I you can afford it go for it, as with most older cars like this you look after them and when you have got your buz from them you can sell for a profit, which is always nice.

Carl

get it bought as they are rising in value, 2k buys a s**tter these days, minters are around 5k. get yourself onto https://www.rtoc.org for all the info you will ever need, just dont ask any dumpvalve questions

i owned mine for 8 years, and it wasnt until i sold it and bought so called faster cars that i realised how fast my r5gtt was, was 200bhp approx

your mates black one looks pretty good, for the love of God do not remove those side graphics cause they are around £200 to buy new and noone so far can faithfully recreate them

if you do buy it id recommend a good carb set up and wideband sensor fitted so you can keep an eye on what the fueling is doing
