I can't get the things out of my head (My first car was a 5, not a GT Turbo though). Now a mate of mine has just found one that's been locked up in a garage for the last 10 years, and after shes done it up a bit she going to be up for sale... yeah or nah?? - I only want it as a weekend toy type thing. |

So why is it you feel the need to die wrapped around a post in a tin can? That's generally how it ends when you own one of these.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

go have a good poke around.the car that is. These can rot like buggery, an engine rebuild is par for the course with the age, especially if messed with which would be 99% of them, the other 1% were Raiders that are now going for £10k+ ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

There was a time I liked the idea of an R5 GT Turbo but after a mate had one, ragged the life out of it, waked up the boost to about 25psi IIRC, rear ended a '69 Mustang and killed the turbo I went right off the idea. They are so unreliable mostly bought then abused (the above being a perfect example) or tuned up to the max, then abused. What Owain says is about right in truth! If you are seriously wanting one I guess you need to dig deep? ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

All I know is some old boy has had it for the last 10 years and hes just kept it in a garage! My mate took it out for a spin the other day and said it was running like new. Fingers crossed... just need to see how much she wants for it now. |

I suppose these are the sort of car that at the right price could be worth a punt in any condition - price dependant.Depends what you want from the toy. Something to get MOT worthy over the next few months ready for the spring? You only live once. Scratch the itch. ________________________________________ |
