yep the r34 was beautiful after a fresh re-spray and sounded the tits just ticking over in the workshop, I liked it so much I was thinking about painting the dimma that colour but have found an even nicer colour now |

The latest is that I have the car back, the roof is fitted as is the bonnet and boot, due to Noal having an unseen circumstance it has taken a lot longer than was expected and has delayed me from having it painted before I go away.Nur have compensated me by giving me a carbon Kevlar slam panel and carbon grill backed with Kevlar so he is doing his best to please me and make a good thing out of a bad situation He is also making me carbon hockey sticks but not sure when (im in no rush for them) The carbon spoiler looks the tits on the car but wont fit the original spoiler inners so he is modifying it so that I can bolt it directly to the car and loose the weight of the original spoiler. The carbon has a dull finish at the minute as they thought I was painting it so noal and my mate have agreed on a price for my friend to ceramic lacquer it as that is what will be used on the rest of the car To be fair to Noal he did have family issues and has compensated me for delaying me unlike most company's that wouldn't be bothered one customer when he clearly has a lot of customers that spend 5 times the amount that I have |

Glad you got the bits fitted in the end. Thought you'd had a nightmare but a slam panel and grill make up for it ________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

I wouldn't say that the slam panel and grill make up for it as the car should be built by now and me going away with work won't help, it caused me alot of tress with everything else iv got going on!The £500 that he is paying my mate isn't really a plus as it should have been a finish product! The main reason it went to nur was for the catch's as the boot lids are going to be a pain, even more so now as I can't fit a standard tailgate to practice on as he had to modify the hinges to make the boot lid fit Oh well s**t happens, I don't have it in writing but nur did say if I f**k up they will replace the panels free of charge! He also mentioned helping me out if I damage the panels when I use it as a time attack car! Most company's would just fob u off and not try and regain your trust! |

It was also compensation for making the inner frame work out of grp instead of carbon on the bonnet and tailgate!!The prices on the forum are not correct and don't have nur's approval so not sure what happened but I'm sure lotek didn't just make up the prices and turn into a spy on day and take photos of the panels lol The more and more I look at it the worse things get, iv got s**t loads of prep work to do on the carbon as it still has all the sharp edges from the mould and all the edges that are meant to be flat are not More bloody work!!! Anyone want to buy a Dimma lol |

Measure twice, measure thrice, cut once. If you f**k up, post pics so we can laugh, I mean, learn from your mistakes.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
