Don't need to take your own car to attend, just treat it as a day off from normal life s**t.

Change of subject.... The dimma now has an mot Smile
I have done 70 miles now so only 30 to go before it gets treated to royal purple and the cooler and relocation kit gets connected

It's off to the body shop tonight and should be 100% finished body wise by Tuesday

My AEM oil temp and pressure gauges turned up yesterday so need to fit them

The best news is I will no longer be homeless in a week's time after selling my house 2 weeks ago, bad thing is all my time will be consumed on building the new home for the dimma

Sounds like great progress! Any plans you can share for the new garage? There's a great three on ph about them and it's always good to get inspiration!

Hats off to you to be able to build such an epic car and your own house etc, clearly you're doing something right! 2 kids and private school has killed off my funds for toys n man caves :-(

The new house doesn't have a garage so want to build a double like I had at the old house!
This is all funded by all the trips I did out to Afghan as a civilian contractor, if it wasn't for those trips I would be up to my eye balls in debt with no toys....

I need another war to kick off lol

Yup you said you were making a mint out of it but long hot days etc. That garage was a good size from what I remember plenty of room to swing a cat around even with a dimma in there lol

Side skirts bonded and rivited on

Carbon spoiler bolted on, not sure if I will be able to have this one and the f2000 one fitted but we will see

Gave it a good polish

Still got a few things to buy
Fuel cap
Carbon front door cards
New top mount bearings

I applied to go on the paddock Stand "built not bought" at French car show and have been accepted Smile

Still got a lot to do on the inside like mount all the gauges, secure the carbon fibre foot wells then just a general tidy up!

I really need a new stearing wheel but will probably buy one at fcs

By the time I drive the car back from the body shop I would have done the 100 mile's run in, I can then fill the beast with royal purple

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.
