Yup however they are not big enough, wont take long to make one and won't cost me a penny.
The diffuser is the last on the list so can wait until the car is on the road

Both oil coolers mounted now and started to route the hoses for the engine cooler.
Made a bracket for the oil filter relocation kit

Both the coolers will be going black and all the brackets are going to get powder coated

Tomorrow will be an afternoon of measuring up for all the hoses that I need for the charger, catch tank and power steering.

After that the intercooler, rad and charger will be coming back off as well as the inlet so that can get painted again as it's got a few scratches that are getting to my ocd side

2 steps forward 10 steps back Sad

Stripped the front end off to restore the surface finish and removed the charger so that I can get the compressor housing powder coated .

While it's off I'm getting the restrictor opened up another 1.5mm... More power Smile

Hopefully this time next week it will all be rebuilt, then it's time to turn the engine over for the first time Smile

Awesome progress mate!
Had you ever considered a laminova cooler instead of the air cooler type? Thats what i'm considering when i start going for more power. Smile

I have looked at them but to be honest I prefer the flat matrix type, the way I see it is more surface area for the air to hit plus the price difference is mega

Fair enough. I like the idea that stones won't be able to cause any oil leaks with the laminova and it's more compact.

Well... Going backwards instead of forward Sad
Charger is off so rich can set Ross's boost pipe to the same position as mine, the restrictor is getting opened up then to send the compressor housing and other bits to pro alloy to get coated

Inlet is off to get painted again Sad

Hopefully by the end of this weekend the front and rear bumper, skirts and hockey sticks will be in primer and then painted next week!

Fingers crossed I will have it all built back up shortly after that as I have a feeling I'll be moving house very soon which will delay me finishing it

Can't really do much to the car until I get my bits back so cracked on with some other bits
Bolted the carbon spoiler on

Then drilled and bolted my new carbon rear quarter panels in, old ones are in the for sale section

Just waiting for my ap racing brake fluid so I can bleed the brakes then I can set the ride height up and get it on the ground

When you have a minute would you mind measuring the width of the intercooler for me?
In just wondering if it will fit between my oil coolers and if not if I can nudge them out far enough to fit it in between without having to tip them up horizontally like you have.

yup... as explained on the first page it was a second hand kit and didn't have much choice as to where I fitted it! I can reach it (just) but I cant see me ever changing the settings during a track day!
I pay to much attention to driving never mind playing around with the valve

Once it's setup you'll never adjust it in my experience.

Got round to bleeding my brakes yesterday, the front four pots were easier than I thought they were going to be, the rears how ever are being a pain! They have no air in the system, can't turn them by hand but when the pedal is applied and I try and torque up the wheel (on jacks) the rears still spin (unless the hand brake is used)

Had an eventful day at work today, again bleeding brakes... The aircraft brakes operate at 1500psi, stupidly I wasn't wearing specs and got a face full of pressurized oil! 3 hours at the hospital checking my eyes didn't have any oil left in them and a general eye test (work made me go)

Eyes stang for a few hours after work so didn't get much done in the dimma Sad
Got the seat and harness in, just for those that think i will need to adjust the brake bias while driving

I am a short arsenal and have come across a problem Sad to get into 6th or reverse the gear knob hits the seat, the seat is a wide version, it sits central and can't move it out board as its close to the cage door bars Sad hopefully the extra length on the satchshift will resolve the problem

Where is the position on bias valve?
Maybe restricting the rears so much they are hardly working

Yep Ash may have a point there? open the bias fully to rear and then try bleeding them through?

I did think that, I have no idea what setting it is on, I assumed it would be in the right place as that's what it was like on the previous owners car!
Will have a play tomorrow and see if it improves it if not ill just wait for it to be set up when it gets mot'd

Open it right up and try again.

I left mine open till driving down the road, did brake tests till the rear wheels wouldn't lock before fronts.
