They have saved the plans but me and Ross own the rights, if you wanted the same made at a later date we could sort something out, they won't make you the same for what me and Ross paid as its unfair on us for paying extra (truck hire, fuel, fabrication costs etc) if I was to do it alone it would have cost around 2k
You wouldn't pay that but you would probably pay £100 or so more than me and Ross to cover the outright costs we had, that's what we and pro alloy have agreed

Yep it all fits with out modifying the chassis and will fit the c30 as well as the c38 charger

That's fair though, the hassle alone is worth some royalties. And it makes a good pub story, "oh yeah I own the rights to a supercharged alloy intercooler and radiator setup." (Ok maybe not so cool to a 'not a car nut' LOL)

What about the design makes it universal to both chargers? Just the outlet placement and size?

Making the boost pipes to either set up will be simple and the rad hoses are the standard position you would just need to get silicon hoses

Move the oil coolers...

Just found out that the truck I borrow is apparently broke so now iv got to try and work out how to get the car back Sad

The first intercooler and rad was what cost the most amount of money, if you sent them an drawing it would cost for example £1400 as they would make it to the drawing, the Labour charge for mocking them both up on a car was the costly part.
Once the first one was made the second one cost for example £1000 due to less Labour.

If you wanted one made and you paid for example £ 1200 me and Ross would get £100 each!

Ha, took the word out of my mouth!

When you get the beast back, could you slap a front bumper on just for reference? I'm trying to figure out how big it is and where it's sitting. I see it's got the pins at the bottom but what does it have for mounting at the top?

It's stunning watching this thing come together! Makes me want to buy a dimma kit...

Proper job.
Something I could definitely be interested in as its something I wanted to do too at some point.

One question, would the cutouts in the rad end tanks not restrict flow?
I'm sure it's all been tested properly, just had me wondering.

I asked them that and they said they have never has an issue with doing them like that, I would have gone for a shorter rad if I had any doubt in what they said, they are the experts after all

I first wondered about the cutouts restricting the flow but i don't think it will make any negative difference as it's not as though the flow of the whole rad has to go through the narrow bit with the cutouts, theres only a small part of the rad below the cutouts, and all the channels/vanes in the rad below the cutouts will probably make less area if you put them as one unit than the part with the cutout it has to get past

Just have a look at the end tanks on a standard rad they are no way near as big as the pro alloy ones even with the cut outs

Well after a long and expensive day yesterday I got the dimma back Smile
Here are some pics

Plenty of room behind the bumper, probably more than standard

As you can see the cooler doesn't sit that far out

Can the oil cooler not go I the bumper grill completely rather than on its side and being covered by the bumper bud ?

If I could get the full cooler behind the grill I would have put it there, it was either where it is now or behind the round hole!
if i went for the round hole option I would have had to cut loads of the slam panel up and even then the back of the cooler would have been hard up against the chassis cross member support so the flow wouldn't have been great lol!
Should be fine though as the cooler used to sit behind the fog light hole on a standard bumper and never went above 90 degrees, my other opinion is that most the rad and intercooler are covered by the bumper pretty much like a standard set up

Would love a carbon diffuser but it would cost a fortune to get someone to make me one as I can't find one on eBay with the correct width, depth and length Sad
I will more than likely make one from thin alloy or if I can get my hands on some titanium I'll use that!
It's mainly to get rid of as much parachute effect as poss as I don't think the car is low enough or bottom of the car flat enough to gain any down force suction

Yup looked at all them plus others, think the new age Scooby would be best but I'm just better off make by my own.

I'm also going to make a scoop to go from the round cut out on the bront bumper to each oil cooler to aid with cooling

The list is getting longer and longer Sad
