i actually had the two blokes from dimma down at work the other day picking up a roof skin for a 205, i got talking to him about maxi / dimma etc and he was looking at my mates' ltd edition wide arch capri. this does not help your wishbone situation though Whistle

The only parts that won't be new on the rear beam will be the anti roll bar end plates as they are a ridiculous amount from Peugeot so today I sand blasted the old ones and gave them a dusting of black paint

It's bloody hot out side so I think its time to chill out with a few beers in my bargain £20 swimming pool lol

Thanks, really want to finish it but I'm always waiting on people, the gearbox place has had my box for nearly 2 months now which has stopped me from getting the engine in and then sorting out the intercooler and rad!
Its so frustrating that iv got so much to do but can't do anything Sad

Got my box back Smile
It's got the shot peeved and cyro dipped 1st 2nd 5th and 6th gear set from my old box and KAD straight cut 3rd and 4th
My old diff was fitted and dome other new parts were fitted and the casing was powdercoated

Iv got to wait for the clutch arm fork bush's to arrive
The clutch has been sent off to helix for the friction plates to be renewed

I should get the rear beam back Monday and then hopefully fit the engine box and beam next weekend

I was provisionally booked in with pro alloy for rad and intercooler but has now been moved back a few weeks as I'm not going to be ready by Wednesday Sad

Thanks guys Thumbs up
The clutch should turn up tomorrow so all being well I can mate the gearbox back to the engine at the weekend as I went and picked up my clutch arm bush's today along with 3 bottles of gearbox oil.

Hopefully I should have the engine and box fitted to the car by mid next week and then it's loads of little jobs like making the fuel lines, mounting the ecu box, catch tank etc

Iv still got loads to do Sad

After some much appreciated help from Rich W yesterday the engine and box are now together Thumbs up
The re padded clutch arrived back on Friday very happy with the service and price from helix

After Rich left I fitted the engine loom and started adding some braided line

Was going to fit the engine to the car today but after replacing the gear selector rod split bearing that I got from bearingboys and trying it on the selector arm ball iv decided that I want a new arm as I still have a bit of play between the two.
First thing tomorrow I will be ringing Peugeot and fingers crossed they will have one in stock Whistle

I should then be able to fit the engine and start making the braided fuel lines from the bulk head to the fuel rail
I can also make the lines for the charger oil system

Fingers crossed I should get the beam back from lynx Tuesday so then I can get the car on the ground and see how the rear wheels sit in the archs

Well what a s**t day, Peugeot don't have the selector arm and won't have it in until Wednesday Sad
Got a few little bits done today though, I have now run the wires for the fuel pump, fitted the an fittings for the fuel rail but can't do the other ends for the bulk head until the engines in.

I then decided to make a carbon panel to hide/cover the injectors and wiring

I really should be more prepared when it comes to buying parts that I need, iv had 2 years after all lol

Iv got a company coming round tomorrow to fit the windscreen...

Just want it finished now but don't see the point in rushing it for it to be ready for the winter!
I could have finished it a lot earlier if I planned getting things made etc along time ago but that's just the way it goes Sad
It's been over 2 years but to be fair iv had weeks on end not touching the car and also over 8 months out the country.

Thanks for all the comments and support Thumbs up

Someone really doesn't want me to finish this project Sad

Got the new pivot arm but either the bush's are wrong or the arm is wrong Sad

Well that means the engine isn't getting fitted this weekend Sad

And to make things worse work have persuaded me to go out to Afghan again in a few weeks to strip the aircraft down to bring them home so that's another few months of not being able to get the car finished Sad
